EXPLORE NAN 3D/2N
This trip will lead you explore Nan, the forgotten city in the North but charming. Nan has a lot of spectacular nature which we will visit two national parks in this program that is Doi Phukha and Srinan National Park as samples. Nan also has a strong artistic traditional present by architectural style of the temple, Wat Phumin, its mural painting and typical weaving cloth of ethic group, Thai Lue. We will also visit Nan National Museum where exhibits the history of Nan province and the rare black elephant tusk.
DAY 1 Nan – Doi Phuka
08.00 Pick up at the hotel in Nan, then go trekking at Doi Phuka National Park until noon. You
can see beautiful forest and endemic plant here “Chomphu Phuka” which has beautiful
pink flower.
Pm. Go to view point and visit a small temple but present culture of Thai Lua an ethnic
group in Nan Province and visit a small weaving village of Thai Lua. After that go to
NanValley Resort or equal for overnight. Dinner and relax.
DAY 2 Nan
Am. After breakfast. Learn Nan history at the National Museum and see the rare and
important black elephant task. Visit the most beautiful temple of Nan “Wat Phumin”
which is famous for its mural painting, unique Naga and four beautiful Buddha images.
After lunch on the riverside restaurant continue to Srinan National Park. Set camp.
Dinner.
DAY 3 Sri Nan – BKK
05.00 Get up early in the morning to watch the sunrise between mountain range and sea of
the mist in the winter. After breakfast and hot drink , go to explore a short trail around a
hill call Doi Hua Sing (Lion head hill). Then visit a dramatic landscape of earth pillars
called Sao Din Na Noi and straight back to Nan. Trip terminate at the hotel or airport etc.
